Democrats Have Created Their Own Memo To Combat The Original Memo That Has Yet To Be Released

Republican lawmakers in the House are doing everything in their power to release the FISA memo (which supposedly details abuse of government surveillance) to the public. Word has it we could see it as early as next week. Republican lawmakers say it’s crucial that we see this thing for ourselves.

Interestingly enough, Democrats don’t want this document released. I can’t imagine why. (Just kidding. I can.) They’ve done everything in their power to downplay it. Heck. Mr. and Mrs. Transparency (Rep. Adam Schiff and Sen. Dianne Feinstein) wrote a letter yesterday, urging Facebook and Twitter to look into the “Russian bots” spreading the #ReleaseTheMemo” narrative.

No joke.

Surprise surprise. As it turns out, we’re not Russian bots. Even Twitter knows that.

The online groundswell urging the release of House Republicans’ attacks on the Federal Bureau of Investigation appears thus far to be organically American—not Russian propaganda, a source familiar with Twitter’s internal analysis told The Daily Beast.

Mind you, that’s coming from the Daily Beast.

But a knowledgeable source says that Twitter’s internal analysis has thus far found that authentic American accounts, and not Russian imposters or automated bots, are driving #ReleaseTheMemo. There are no preliminary indications that the Twitter activity either driving the hashtag or engaging with it is either predominantly Russian.

In short, according to this source, who would not speak to The Daily Beast for attribution, the retweets are coming from inside the country.

So much for that narrative. It was so stupid, no one believed it anyway. (Just kidding. Alyssa Milano did.)

Time for a new plan!

Basically, Democrats created another memo combating the original memo because the original memo will make them all look REEEEEEALLY bad.

I’d say so.

I’m dying to see these memos. I’m guessing Schiff realizes that the original memo will be released soon, so this is plan C. Or D? I don’t know. I can’t keep up with their constant deflections.
