The Nevada Democrats unveiled their new mascot this week.
First off, I didn’t know political parties had mascots. I suppose the Dems wanted to be sure to remind everyone that they behave like petulant children.
Secondly, and worst of all, the mascot is meant to mock Mitch McConnell’s appearance…
Classy.
So what does this mascot look like?

Wowowowow. You know, because Mitch McConnell looks like a turtle.
Award for PETTIEST state party goes to the NEVADA DEMOCRATS.
No contest. This is embarrassing. This is third-world country politics.
According to the Hill:
Nevada Democrats on Tuesday unveiled their 2018 campaign mascot: a turtle holding a bag of money, meant to mock Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
Dems plan to use the turtle mascot at campaign events to tie local Republican candidates to the Senate Republican leader.
State party chairman William McCurdy unveiled the costume at a campaign event Tuesday afternoon.
The mascot was apparently well received by local Democratic activists, some of whom tweeted their own pictures with “Mitch McTurtle.”

This is shameful. I am legitimately ashamed to share a planet with these morons.
