Seal Was Back In The News For Slamming Oprah… And Now He’s Being Investigated

Seal (best known for the Batman song and being married to Heidi Klum) made an appearance in a few headlines last week for slamming Oprah’s rumored run for president.

Honestly, it was pretty great.

He’s now making headlines for a VERY different reason…

Guess what he’s being accused of. Just guess.

According to TMZ:

Seal is under criminal investigation for sexual battery, just one week after he publicly encouraged sexual abuse victims to come forward … but the singer denies any wrongdoing.

Actress Tracey Birdsall tells us she and Seal were neighbors in Los Angeles in the fall of 2016. She says the two developed a close friendship — and only that — until an incident at Seal’s home. Tracey says she was in Seal’s kitchen to retrieve a salad spinner she’d lent him when all of a sudden, he lunged at her.

Tracey tells us Seal forced himself on her, attempting to kiss her. She says she shouted, “What are you doing?!” and the singer replied, “I’m kissing you!”

Birdsall claims Seal then began to belittle her for what she was wearing (a tank top and shorts) — insinuating she was asking for it — and he began to grope her breasts. She says she demanded he stop.

Tracey tells us Seal then invited her to sit on the couch next to him … she says she was in shock and complied. Birdsall claims Seal once again began to make fun of what she was wearing and groped her again. Tracey says she left shortly after that and did not have contact with Seal again.

So he tried to kiss her, she denied him so he made fun of her clothing, then he asked her to sit on a couch with him and she did, then he groped her. Over a year later she’s filing a police report about it.

So you think timing is a coincidence? Seal’s back in the news and all of a sudden he’s accused of something?

Nope. Not a coincidence in the slightest.

Birdsall says it wasn’t until she saw Seal’s comments about Oprah and Harvey Weinstein — where he encouraged women to share their own stories of sexual misconduct — that she decided to report it to the cops.

Uhhhhh…. so basically she remembered she had been assaulted? Or she was upset that he spoke ill of the almighty O?

I feel like this is really icky, honestly.

I just hate that it feels so revenge-y, you know? If she’s not telling the truth then it’s a completely VILE thing to do… and if she IS then her timing is just so off… You shouldn’t “remember” to file a police report against someone when you realize they disagree with your political views.

A source with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. confirms a report was taken Saturday for sexual battery … the incident is under investigation.

A rep for Seal tells us, “Seal vehemently denies the recent allegations made against him by a former neighbor for alleged misconduct more than a year ago. He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.”

We’ll see how this goes…

I don’t know what evidence they could possibly have of this nearly two years later. It will just turn into a major case of he-said she-said.
