Lena Got Dumped

I don’t relish in the misery of others.

BUT

I often wondered “What self-respecting man dates Lena Dunham.”

Lena Dunham, who has said, out loud, countless times, that men are the root of all evil.

Lena Dunham who made up being raped while proclaiming all women should be believed.

Lena Dunham who bragged about molesting her little sister.

THAT Lena Dunham.

Who dates that? WHY?

Well… Jack Antonoff did. For 5 YEARS. But no longer, cuuuuz they’re splitsville.

According to Daily Mail:

Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff have ended their five-year relationship.

The Girls writer, director and star and the Bleachers frontman began dating in 2012.

And according to Eonline the pair have been living separately since December.

While no reason has been given for the pair ending their relationship, the split was mutual, a source told Eonline.

‘Jack and Lena were growing apart and it just made sense for them to end their relationship where it was,’ said the source.

‘They want the best for each other no matter what. They are both moving on.’

In an interview earlier this year Lena, 31, insisted that while she and Jack were blissfully in love, they have no plans to wed.

She told The Times: ‘I am not against marriage in any way, but I do like the fact that Jack and I have placed zero pressure on ourselves about it. I have friends who have met someone, married them and got divorced during the period of time that Jack and I have been dating.

I’m sure her friends loved that one.

However, Lena admitted that she still comes under pressure from other people to be the ‘perfect partner’.

She explained: ‘Even if you’re a woman without children, there’s so often an expectation that you’re going to go to work, and be the perfect partner to your boyfriend, and show up cheerfully at all of his work drinks, and remember everyone’s birthday, and get to every baby shower, and take care of the cat, and make sure you have toilet paper. It’s just too much.’

So… did the potion wear off…orrrr????

Also…. can we acknowledge how ABSURD her “perfect partner” list is?

TAKING CARE OF THE CAT AND REMEMBERING BIRTHDAYS IS AN INCREDIBLY UNREALISTIC EXPECTATION FOR LENA, OK. (She even gave her dog away and then lied about it, remember??)

NEVERMIND being emotionally supportive or caring… no one would EVER even consider her asking her to do that.

They’ll stick to expecting her to have toilet paper at her house.
