It’s done. The results are in. Doug Jones won Alabama’s special election. It was close.
I’m obviously not incredibly thrilled by the results, but it is what it is. The choices weren’t the greatest to begin with, but there’s no question in my mind that Moore was the better choice. We needed him for the bigger picture. Plus I can’t get past the fact that Jones is fine with partial birth abortion. Nope. Sorry. It doesn’t get much more heartless and despicable than that.
Liberals (and probably McConnell) are celebrating, and President Trump has responded to the news. He’s being a good sport about it. You can tell he just wants to get stuff done.
Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!

He’s right. As much as this sucks, we have another shot just around the corner. It’s not truly over. It never really ends.
