Authorities Arrest Suspect Involved In NYC Explosion

Some sort of explosion went off in a New York City subway near the Port Authority at around 7:30 a.m.

The NYPD is responding to reports of an explosion of unknown origin at 42nd Street and 8th Ave, #Manhattan. The A, C and E line are being evacuated at this time. Info is preliminary, more when available. pic.twitter.com/7vpNT97iLC

The police now have the suspect in custody. According to reports, he had a pipe bomb strapped to his body. The good news? There are no injuries other than the suspect at this time.

We’re still waiting on more details, but it certainly looks like this was an attempt to terrorize innocent people during the morning rush. Thank goodness this man’s plan failed miserably.
