Democratic Rep. John Conyers Hospitalized Due To ‘Stress-Related’ Illness

John Conyers– the 88-year-old Democratic congressman who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple former staffers– has been hospitalized due to a “stress-related illness.”

Conyers’ family spokesperson Sam Riddle said the congressman was “resting comfortably with [his wife] Monica by his side,” but did not give further details about his condition.

“[John Conyers] is doing okay, as well as can be expected for a gentleman that’s approaching 90 years of age. You can wait out here all you want; he won’t be coming out,” Riddle said.

You know what this “stress” is probably due to, right? The mounting sexual harassment allegations against him, of course! It’s seriously stressin’ him out. Just this morning, his former staffer Marion Brown appeared on the “Today Show” and told her story. She said Conyers once invited her to his hotel room. She thought they were going to discuss business, but when she arrived, she noticed he was in his underwear.

“He asked me to satisfy him sexually,” she said. “He pointed to areas of, genital areas of his body and asked me to, you know, touch it.”
