Hillary Clinton Believes We Need To Take A Softer Approach To North Korea

It’s days like today that I’m especially grateful that Hillary Clinton isn’t President of the United States.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton spoke at a conference in Beijing via video. She used her appearance to criticize President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. She believes we’re being too hard on North Korea.

I am not making this up.

Clinton, a former secretary of state, said the Trump administration had retreated from diplomacy. She called on both the U.S. and China to avoid “bluster” or “personal taunts” in dealing with North Korea, and said the six-party talks on denuclearization should resume.

“Beijing should remember that inaction is a choice as well,” Clinton said on Tuesday, referring to China’s approach toward North Korea.

Wait. So she’s slamming Trump for being too mean, and slamming Xi Jinping for not being mean enough? What is she getting at?

Hillary criticizing Trump for being too mean to Kim Jong-un is actually insane. Then again, we’re talking about the woman who helped spread the “the Benghazi attack was caused by a video!” lie, so of course she has no problem suggesting that Trump’s name-calling is sending “Rocket Man” over the edge. In reality, North Korea has been unstable. This isn’t anything new. North Korea wasn’t triggered by Donald Trump’s election. It has always hated us and will continue to hate us. It doesn’t matter how nice and understanding we try to be. It wouldn’t change a darn thing. Even if it did, NO. Kim Jong-un is a despicable dictator who starves, tortures and murders his own people. There’s nothing beyond that to understand.

Can you imagine if Hillary were POTUS right now? What would her approach be? I don’t even want to think about it.
