Sean Hannity Responds To Roy Moore’s Open Letter

Because of the mounting questions surrounding Roy Moore’s scandal, Sean Hannity issued an ultimatum. On Tuesday night, he said Roy Moore either needed to “fully come up with a satisfactory explanation” for his inconsistencies or drop out of the race.

“You must remove any doubt,” Hannity said. “If you can’t do this, then Judge Roy Moore needs to get out of this race. This country has way too many issues and problems. The American people deserve 100 percent truth and honesty.”

Moore responded in an open letter.

“Are we at a stage in American politics in which false allegations can overcome a public record of 40 years, stampede the media and politicians to condemn an innocent man and potentially impact the outcome of an election of national importance?” Moore asked.

“I adamantly deny the allegations of Leigh Corfman and Beverly Nelson, did not date underage girls and have taken steps to begin a civil action for defamation. Because of that, at the direction of counsel, I cannot comment further,” he concluded.

Hannity responded last night. He ultimately said he believes the people of Alabama will make the right decision, but it seems like he’s giving Moore the benefit of the doubt.

At the same time, Hannity made it clear that there’s a standing open invitation to all Roy Moore’s accusers. They can appear on his show. They’ll have his ear.

Appropriate response? It’s not what I expected. Hannity said Moore “must remove any doubt.” I don’t think his open letter did that. There are still doubts.
