Ultra-Creepy Necrophiliac Mental Hospital Escapee Has Been Arrested

Earlier I told you guys about the creepiest/ most unbelievable escape story I think I’ve ever heard.

How is this even possible in real life? It sounds like a pink panther movie. It’s not real life.

Anyway… the creepster has been caught.

An escaped psychopathic killer who walked out of a Hawaii mental hospital on Sunday and fled the islands on a private plane has been arrested in California.

Randall Saito, 59, as arrested in Stockton on Wednesday morning, three days after escaping the state hospital where he had been kept for 38 years.

On Sunday, Saito walked out of the state hospital on Honolulu empty-handed on Sunday at 9am.

He then strolled for a mile to Kaneohe Community Park and picked up a backpack along the way which contained a cellphone and a fake passport under the name Bill.

Using the phone, he called a cab to collect him from the park and take him to Honolulu International Airport where a private charter plane was waiting to take him to Maui.

From there, he boarded a Hawaiian Airlines Flight to San Jose, California, and has not been seen or heard from since.

By the time hospital staff reported him missing at 7.30pm on Sunday night, he had already been in California for two hours.
He was arrested 80 miles from San Jose, where his flight landed on Sunday.

The FBI joined in the hunt for him but he was arrested by sheriff’s deputies who received a tip off from a local taxi driver that he was in the area.

He now faces a felony escape charge.

Can you even? Because I can’t. I cannot.

This can’t be for real.

Police have not yet revealed whether they believe the killer – who slaughtered a woman in 1979 – had help plotting his escape or if he acted alone.

They have confirmed that he was able to get on both planes using the name on a fake passport.

It is also not clear where the money used to pay for the expensive charter plane came from.

One charter company which DailyMail.com spoke with said a typical flight of that length would cost around $4,000.

Saito paid for both the charter plane and his ticket on the Hawaiian Airlines flight with cash but booked his seat on the commercial flight on the website Travelocity.

After walking out of the hospital, he used a pre-charged phone from the backpack to call a cab. Once inside, he made small talk with the driver who he was filmed telling about his long walk.

She asked what he was traveling for and he said he had to make a flight, worrying that he was running late.
