You know your liberal hypocrisy has gone too far when even the New York Times calls you out.
That’s EXACTLY what happened when it comes to Alec Baldwin’s tired impersonation of Trump last night.
If you thought he was ALREADY taking it too far… well, get a load of this.
F’real, SNL?
Baldwin is good friends with director James Toback, who has now been accused of sexual harassment by over 30 women.
Baldwin himself recently confessed to “mistreating and bullying” women.
How does he deal with the crumbling of Hollywood?
By slapping at Trump…
“What an idiot that Harvey Weinstein is,” Baldwin’s Trump says in the sketch. “He could have gotten away with all of it if only he had gotten himself elected president.”
Because in Baldwin’s (and the rest of the left’s) deluded little mind inappropriate talk between two men is the same as a man who has been accused of raping, molesting, and harassing over 90 women.
Why are they equivalent?
Because nothing tops the left’s hatred for Trump.
As I said, even the NYT realized this is getting out of hand.
‘Saturday Night Live’: Alec Baldwin and Larry David Contribute to an Awkward Episode https://t.co/pok8aizcN8
— The New York Times (@nytimes) November 5, 2017
What were President Trump, Paul Manafort, Jeff Sessions and Vice President Mike Pence doing in a shower together? Why was Larry David making jokes about trying to pick up women at a concentration camp? Who thought it would be a good idea for Alec Baldwin, of all people, to take satirical potshots at Harvey Weinstein?
These were just some of the questions raised by this weekend’s head-scratching installment of “Saturday Night Live,” which was hosted by Mr. David and featured Miley Cyrus as musical guest. Even after an extra hour of sleep, we’re still not certain we can adequately answer them.
This week’s cold open featured Mr. Baldwin in his recurring role as Mr. Trump, visiting Paul Manafort (played by the “S.N.L.” cast member Alex Moffat), his recently indicted former campaign chairman, while he is under house arrest.
Who thought it would be a good idea? The leftist idiots who have their heads stuck too far up their own a$$es to realize how embarrassing this all is.
It was an awkward juxtaposition, at a time when a growing number of Hollywood figures are being confronted with claims of sexual misdeeds.
Mr. Baldwin has lately come under scrutiny for his friendship with the filmmaker James Toback, who has faced widespread accusations of sexual misconduct and abuse. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Mr. Baldwin said he had “no idea” that Mr. Toback had “done anything criminal.” “If that’s true, that’s news to me,” Mr. Baldwin said. “I never had any idea that Jimmy’s appetites took him in that direction.”
Jimmy’s “appetites.” Are you F***ING KIDDING ME?!
Baldwin is a scumbag
During a tribute on Thursday at the Paley Center for Media, Mr. Baldwin said, “I certainly have treated women in a very sexist way. I’ve bullied women. I’ve overlooked women. I’ve underestimated women. Not as a rule.”
On Saturday, Mr. Baldwin said he would suspend posting at his @AlecBaldwin Twitter account, following criticism of an interview he gave to PBS in which he seemed to blame some of the actresses who have accused Mr. Weinstein of sexual misconduct.
But… you know. Trump is still worse.
Trump is always worse.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well over at SNL.
