Anyone remember Jemele Hill? She’s the race-baiting ESPN anchor who took it too far.
Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017
Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017
He has surrounded himself with white supremacists — no they are not “alt right” — and you want me to believe he isn’t a white supremacist?
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) September 11, 2017
He is unqualified and unfit to be president. He is not a leader. And if he were not white, he never would have been elected

ESPN issued a half-apology for her tweets.

That didn’t do much. Jemele didn’t learn her lesson. ESPN ended up suspending her for two weeks due to “a second violation” of ESPN’s social media guidelines. She actually encouraged people to boycott the Cowboys’ advertisers, due to Jerry Jones’ stance on players standing during the national anthem.
This play always work. Change happens when advertisers are impacted. If you feel strongly about JJ’s statement, boycott his advertisers. https://t.co/LFXJ9YQe74

ESPN’s statement read:
Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks for a second violation of our social media guidelines. She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet. In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences. Hence this decision.
Throughout it all, liberals have been by her side. They’re convinced everyone doesn’t like Jemele because she’s black.
I don’t like her because she’s a race-baiting fool who says stuff like “his [Trump’s] rise is a direct result of white supremacy.” Thanks for calling me– a Trump supporter– a white supremacist, Jemele!
That’s why I don’t like her. And for those who are still convinced I secretly don’t like her because she’s black, allow me to introduce you to the white liberal chicks I can’t stand. Scroll up and do a search on our website for Lena Dunham, Amy Schumer or Chelsea Handler.
I’ll wait.
Moving on.
TMZ caught up with Jemele Hill and asked her to say something to her supporters. She said this has been a “reflective” time for her. She’s cool with ESPN. They’re in a good place. And believe it or not, she said she deserved the suspension.

“I deserved my suspension.” – actual words coming out of Jemele Hill’s mouth
But did you catch that last part? She admitted she put ESPN in a bad spot but added, “I’ll never take back what I said.”
She’s clearly trying to appease her employer, but at the end of the day, she’s not ACTUALLY sorry. She’s sorry she put ESPN in a bad spot, but she’s not sorry for spewing blatant lies about Trump and his supporters.
This is another clear case of #SorryNotSorry.
