If you’re reading this even after reading the title of this post, I just want to high five you for being willing to feel totally inadequate and unaccomplished with me, because I assure you that after watching this 13 year old kid talk about what ultimately landed him a $12 million dollar pay package from Google, that you might be left questioning your entire existence.
This is Tanmay Bakshi – a homeschooled 9th grader who is ALSO a “Software Cognitive Developer, an Algorithmist, Keynote Mechanic Speaker, Author of Books, Online Teacher, IBM Wattson Speaker and IBM Champion of Cloud.”
You guys – I don’t even know what some of those things ARE.
And what’s more amazing about this kid is that he’s an absolute DELIGHT. He’s not one of those weird, reclusive geniuses who you worry is going to go insane or be totally socially inept. He’s engaging, funny, adorable, and basically perfect.
Meanwhile, I’m over here dabbing with my almost 12-year old and singing along to songs from Lego Ninjago.
Anyway, enjoy your inadequacy.
