For those wondering, the Clean Power Plan was the Obama administration’s attempt at slowing “global warming.” How? By reducing “carbon emissions from coal-burning power plants by having states meet certain targets.”
In other words, useless regulations galore.
“That rule really was about picking winners and losers,” Pruitt stated. “The past administration was unapologetic, they were using every bit of power, authority to use the EPA to pick winners and losers on how we pick electricity in this country. That is wrong.”
“It is right for this administration to say the war is over,” he added.
Predictably, liberals are being ridiculously dramatic.

Liberals should be rejoicing. The Clean Power Plan did nothing but kill jobs.
In West Virginia, energy costs were projected to increase by as much as 20 percent. The new regulations also could have put millions of Black and Hispanic jobs on the chopping block. The Black Chamber of Commerce commissioned a study, showing a 7-million job loss by 2035, along with an increase in the poverty rate within the black community by 23 percent. For Hispanics, it would have been a 12 million-job loss by 2035, with poverty increasing 26 percent in their community.
Prepare yourselves. Liberals are going to lose it tomorrow. (More than usual, that is.)
