October 1, 2017Honestly, the Jacksonville Jaguars should’ve never even considered pulling that stupid stunt in London last week. Their fans already put up with enough. The team is already an embarrassment. (These days, I only go to their home games if they’re playing the Patriots. In any other situation, I’m forced to wear a paper bag over my head.)
In case you missed the action last week, here you go. Some players took a knee, while the rest of the team– along with owner Shahid Khan– locked arms.

Ugh. And in another country?! Unacceptable.
Listen– I live in Jaguars territory, and let me just say: Fans are NOT happy. They’re already disappointed in the Jags 95% of the time, and this just finished it off. The backlash here at home has been severe– SO severe that the players released a statement ahead of Sunday’s game.

So the team PRETTY MUCH apologized. They did but they didn’t. They’re now trying to appease everyone by kneeling before the national anthem, but they’re putting a twist on it. They’re kneeling in prayer. These lines are getting awfully blurry. This is what happens when you try to appease everyone. And NEWSFLASH: This wouldn’t have been an issue if you boneheads didn’t kneel during the national anthem in the first place!
Jags fans are usually pretty forgiving, but they’re not accepting this “apology.”
I feel the same way. I can’t get that image out of my head. It was a disgrace.
