One of the most memorable parts of President Trump’s UN speech? When he called Kim Jong-un “Rocket Man.”
“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump said. “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about; that’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do.”

Some people were truly offended and shocked by Trump calling Chubby McDictator “Rocket Man.” But it wasn’t just Trump being Trump. According to Nikki Haley, Trump said it for a reason. He knew it would get everyone talking about the North Korean dictator, and now they are. That’s exactly what he wanted.
"It worked. … [Using the term "Rocket Man"] is a way of getting people to talk about [Kin Jong-un]." – Ambassador @nikkihaley pic.twitter.com/POZxcJbYXD
