Full disclosure: I’m white. Although I should note, I have just as much Native American blood in me– if not more– than Sen. Elizabeth Warren. But since I’m a NORMAL HUMAN BEING, I’m not going to lie and identify as a minority. (I’m a total mutt. I believe I’m mostly French/Canadian French, Polish, English and Irish, but I’m not absolutely sure. I’m ‘MERICAN. That’s all that really matters to me.)
Anyway, that’s the situation. I have light skin. I’m probably the palest girl in Florida. So of course, I was interested in hearing the left’s take on the concept of whiteness. As it turns out, whiteness is a made up term used as a tool to preserve power.
It’s weird, because Splinter admits that some white people treated other white people like total garbage. The chick, Anna Sterling, actually admits that no– NOT all white people were “privileged.” She points out that many groups– whatever races they were– were willing to throw each other under the bus to get ahead. It’s almost like this was a human nature thing– not something confined to one race.
Whiteness is a made-up concept. But it has a huge effect on our society: pic.twitter.com/EKApgJFvOu

Of course at the end of the video, Sterling goes completely off the rails and essentially argues that President Trump only became President because he ran off a platform of “whiteness.” Apparently, wanting to keep illegal immigrants and Islamic terrorists out = platform of whiteness. I also take issue with what the she says at the very end.
“But as the country becomes browner and browner, the idea that white folks are naturally superior to nonwhite folks is going to sound increasingly ridiculous,” she states.
What America is she living in? That awful concept, by and large, is already considered ridiculous. No race is superior to another. We’re the same. Again, that’s not a new revelation.
The left lives in an alternate reality. That’s the only explanation.
