The Lincoln Memorial Was Vandalized To Say “F**K Law” With Spray Paint

The Lincoln Memorial, one of America’s most treasured monuments, was vandalized last night.

According to this:

Early Tuesday morning, a vandal spray-painted the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall in Washington D.C. The graffiti, sprayed with red paint, looked as though it read, “F**k law,” although it was unclear.

 

The monument preservation crew started cleaning up the Lincoln Memorial with a “gel-type architectural pain stripper safe for use on historic stone.” They told WJLA, “Treatments will be applied as necessary until all evidence of the graffiti is gone.”

In the aftermath of this weekend’s events in Charlottesville, politicians all over the country are calling for Confederate monuments to be torn down. We’ve seen plenty defaced already by angry mobs. Is this really a surprise? Does anyone think Antifa, and the likes, is going to stop at only the “offensive” monuments? Antifa finds any symbol of American pride offensive.
