There is an Actual Product called the Jiftip that is basically a sticker that dudes put over the ends of their weewees in place of condoms, and you guys – I don’t have a weewee, but I’m pretty sure that this is one of the dumbest ideas in the history of weewee related products.
On the Jiftip website, it says, “Feel your partner, Feel Freedom, Feel Safe,” but there really isn’t anything safe about it.
First of all, it’s not recommended that dudes actually climax with the Jiftip on, and here’s why:
Men who leave the patch on when they ejaculate may experience pain or irritation from the patch blocking the urethra while the man has “natural spasms that evacuate all the fluid.” It’s also possible that the adhesive could be an irritant for some with sensitive skin.
Which means that the pull-out method is recommended in addition to using the Jiftip. Which means right at the point of no return, dudes are expected to pull out, and then rip off a highly adhesive sticker from their highly sensitive and ready-to-explode manpart. Again, I don’t have a manpart, but if I were to guess whether or not that sounded like a fun thing to do, my guess is that it would NOT.
Also, these patch thingies do absolutely nothing to protect against STDs. And there are a whole lot of health professionals who are warning that there is no evidence that Jiftips help prevent pregnancies.
Soooo….what’s the point, exactly?
I went to the website to try to find out, and it actually says, in several places, “This product is for novelty or entertainment purposes only. THOU SHALT NOT USE IT FOR PREGNANCY OR STI PREVENTION PURPOSES.”
Which begs the question, what sort of novelty or entertainment does this actually provide? If you’re a dude, can you please answer that for me?
Now, I don’t want to alarm you, but there’s also a video on their website which shows an ACTUAL MAN putting a Jiftip on his ACTUAL MANPART, and it’s just front and center and right in your face and everything. Obviously, I watched it, because THAT IS THE KIND OF IN DEPTH RESEARCH YOU CAN COUNT ON FROM ME, clever and competent readers. 🙂
If you want to subject yourself to it, just click here. But obviously, it’s not safe for work. Or really for anything.
Anyway, this whole thing seems utterly stupid and painful and horrible to me, but I’m not a dude. If you’re a dude who would try this, please explain yourself at once.
