July 6, 2017While most Americans have been feeling extra patriotic this week, others aren’t feeling it. Take, for instance, “self-described anarchist”/Bernie Sanders supporter Emily Lance. Instead of– you know– celebrating the fact that she lives in the greatest country in the history of the world, she decided to upload of video of herself urinating on the American flag with the caption, “F*** your nationalism. F*** your country. F*** your stupid f****** flag.”
Lovely. Her parents must be so proud.
Her video went viral, and she probably knew it would. That kind of stuff usually does.
Most sane people simply condemned her, which is fine. She’s an ungrateful brat. Go ahead and point that out. But others took it WAY too far and actually sent her death threats. Someone even posted a Craigslist ad with a $3,000 bounty on her head.
NO. That’s uncalled for. ALL threats are uncalled for. She’s a brat, but because she lives in the greatest country in the history of the world, she’s allowed to pee on the flag and make herself look like an uninformed moron.

She’s a complete loser, but if you think it’s OK to threaten someone for disrespecting our flag, GTFO. That’s not OK ever. People are free to be idiots, and we’re free to call them out. But actually threatening someone’s life? STOP IT. You’re NOT helping. If anything, you’re drawing attention away from the fact that she’s a complete imbecile who should be mocked endlessly, and you’re only making yourself look like an unhinged loser.
