If you’re sitting here, mystified by what could’ve possibly motivated the Manchester Arena terrorist to carry out a deadly attack on innocent people, please do us all a favor and slap yourself. You deserve it.
The suicide bomber has been identified as 22-year-old Salman Abedi. He was already known to British authorities and likely underwent “terror training” in Libya.
But that doesn’t answer any questions. What REALLY motivated him? I mean, does Islamic extremism REALLY explain it? Maybe he had daddy issues. Was he bullied? Perhaps he had a bad breakup. There are many possibilities. The Washington Post is determined to get to the bottom of it.
In suburban Manchester, a search for what might have motivated the attacker https://t.co/vIWeeT7bqe

It couldn’t possibly have to do with the fact that Islamic terrorists loathe our way of life and believe everything we do is deserving of death. Nah. Of course not.
@washingtonpost Hmmm…what could have motivated this "lone wolf" to use nail bomb w intention to kill as many innocent kids as possible? What could it be?🤔
