It’s Earth Day, and liberals across the country are announcing their devotion to all things science. They’re super pro-science, unlike you, you weird biology-respecting Neanderthal.
Failed vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is so devoted to science, he defined it for us. That’s how much he loves it.
Science is the pursuit of truth for the public interest. Pres Trump can't dismiss this fact, or all those marching today #MarchForScience
— Senator Tim Kaine (@timkaine) April 22, 2017
Science is, by definition, the search for truth for the public interest? That’s the Actual Definition? Why is he attaching “for the public interest” to it? That signifies the existence of some sort of underlying agenda that needs to be fed to the general public. Last time I checked, truth has no agenda. Truth is truth.
@timkaine Really? If I look it up in the dictionary will I find that definition? "Pursuit of Truth for public interest…?" Senator Kaine=Spinster. 🤣
— J-Me G (@Jaimison10) April 22, 2017
@timkaine *political interest.
— RightWired (@_donaldson) April 22, 2017
People who are self-described arbiters of "the public interest" have no business in scientific research. https://t.co/WxpxmrDcwQ
— Strahan Cadell (@Sartor1836) April 22, 2017
@timkaine Science is the pursuit of truth, regardless of the public interest.
Oh wait, you're a politician.
— Lean Dunham (@PCrapedmymother) April 22, 2017
@timkaine I've heard not one "fact" yet that proves climate change or whatever you're calling it these days?🤔
— Amy for US (@bruch_amy) April 22, 2017
@timkaine And yet you deny the Scientific FACT that life begins at conception. 😭 Sad
— LAJ🇺🇸 (@Gigiboj4) April 22, 2017
@timkaine Senator Kaine…THE TRUTH HAS NO AGENDA. Science should likewise have a purpose but NOT AN AGENDA. This is where you are failing!
— Lewis KS (@WestEndLew) April 22, 2017
@timkaine Actually that's not what science is at all. Wow.
— Ned Honts (@MHuntTroutGuide) April 22, 2017
No. Science is the pursuit of truth about the material world. The public interest is in the hands of the public and public leaders. https://t.co/A9T32ggKqV
— Avi Woolf, Elitist🌍 (@AviWoolf) April 22, 2017
@timkaine No. Its not. https://t.co/cJCSo4LW0T #science https://t.co/KDker6zdph
— heymikey80 (@heymikey80) April 22, 2017
@timkaine "Truth for the public interest" is pretty much the opposite of science.
— AJK Freeland (@AJKFreeland) April 22, 2017
@timkaine Science is the pursuit of truth. "Public interest" is not part of the scientific method. Please shut up.

Hey Tim, here’s a tip. Stop hanging out with Chelsea Clinton…
Horrifying research shows correlation between global warming & rise in diabetes cases: https://t.co/DYp6Sru91c

Ummm… The scientific method? https://t.co/YNhYkBDRrq
