CNN’s Jake Tapper did an interview with The Hollywood Reporter where they let him pretend that he is some sort of superhero, here to save us from TRUMP’s EVIL LIES!
Seriously catch a whiff of this steaming pile:
Tapper, known for his dogged interview style no matter the subject, has become an even bigger figure in the mainstream media since Trump’s rise to power. A 25-minute video of an especially heated interview with Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway in February had been watched nearly 1 million times on CNN.com as of early March.
Cox, who interviewed Tapper throughout the one-hour panel, asked him whether he had changed the way he worked in light of the new administration. “I don’t think I changed anything,” he said. “I was doing the fact checks and the commentaries about the importance of empirical fact and truth during the campaign.” That comment prompted Cox to quip: “You were into facts before facts were cool.”
GIVE. ME. A. BREAK. So gross watching two self-obsessed media a-holes flirt like that. Someone get these guys a room. (Where they’ll stare into a mirror and blow kisses at themselves the entire time.)
Anyway, this interview produced one incredible gem, a diamond in the rough, if you will, which made sorting through all of this self-indulgent garbage TOTALLY WORTH IT.
“[My son] now does an impression where whenever I’m bothering him he says, fake news,” the CNN host told MTV’s Ana Marie Cox.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Can you imagine?! Jake Tapper has a seven year old that shouts FAKE NEWS in his face. This thought gives me the warm and fuzzies. From now on, whenever you want to punch Jake Tapper in the face, just picture his seven year old screaming FAKE NEWS whenever he’s told to eat his broccoli.
