Wendy’s introduced kiosks at certain locations last year, and as it turns out, customers prefer them. The kiosks cost around $15,000 each, and they’re hoping the machines will draw in the younger crowd. It’s a smart business move. After all, a kiosk will never call in sick or skip work to participate in a stupid political protest or demand $15 an hour.
According to the report, the company said the kiosks would help reduce labor costs and give younger customers the experience they prefer.
The kiosks cost about $15,000 each.
Earlier this month, Wendy’s said it opened 150 new restaurants worldwide in 2016 and plans to open another 1,000 by 2020.
If the left continues to demand ridiculous minimum wage hikes, we’ll only see more of this. When a business is forced to raise the minimum wage, it only hurts existing employees and consumers. The prices go up, employee hours are cut and some employees are laid off. It’s a loss all around.
