Mr. CJ recently brought a YouTuber known as RazorFist and his “Rageaholic” channel to my attention. So far, I’ve enjoyed every one of his videos that I’ve watched (even the videos where he covers topics that I have zero background knowledge or context for. I just dig his style). He mostly does videos about rock metal bands and video games, but every once in a while, he gets into political commentary (evidently, he was a political science major in college and it shows. The man really knows his stuff!)
This is simply his most recent video – it deals with why we need to build a wall along our southern border. But this particular argument is not something I’d thought of before (and I’m a little embarrassed that it took watching this video for me to consider it). He is still very much in favor of strong borders and even the wall that was a key promise in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. But he adds another layer to the issue that I think is worth considering.
BE WARNED: RazorFist uses EXTREMELY salty language, so don’t watch this video and then complain that his use of the F-bomb offended you. Listen to what the guy is saying about how America’s open border policies are actually hurting Mexico, just as much as they’re hurting us –

Wow. Considering all that – how in the WORLD can the left still say with a straight face that they’re the most compassionate and caring ones? Not only are they socially and economically crippling illegal immigrants by giving them all these freebies and encouraging them to break the law and constantly be dependent on the government, they’re also crippling an entire COUNTRY because there is no incentive for their people to rise up and change their government.
I mean, all those illegal immigrants protesting against immigration reform in the United States ought to be in Mexico protesting their corrupt government and raising up the impoverished and downtrodden against the horrible leaders there!
Sure, there’s probably more to this (the potential for a war in Mexico is certainly troubling), but it seems like taking a hardline stance against illegal immigrants coming into America would be a great start (also, giving people who DO wish to become legal citizens an easier process to navigate wouldn’t hurt either).
It’s something worth thinking about.
