Israeli Education Minister: Palestinians Already Screwed Up The Two-State Solution!

The more I hear about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the more I’m convinced that Palestinians are like those kids who break their new toys within five minutes of opening them and then scream that they want to take toys away from the kids who didn’t smash theirs into a zillion little pieces.

Which is why I LOVE this segment with Israel’s Minister of Education, Naftali Bennett, who made a perfectly reasonable point that tends to get overlooked in this whole thing –

It’s true. Israel keeps having to give over more and more land to the Palestinians and the Palestinians only ever use it to shoot rockets at Israel. There is no sense of “Live and Let Live.” Not as long as the Palestinians are treated like a legitimate entity and not as long as the UN continues to treat Israel like something the cat barfed on their slippers.

Also, this makes a fair point –

Oh gee, how can the Arabic peoples possibly ever cope with Israel’s continued existence in the Middle East??

Israel has just as much right to be there as any of those countries.
