So, yesterday WikiLeaks was supposedly coming out with some BIG HUGE REVELATION that many thought was going to end Hillary Clinton’s curtain shopping plans for the Oval Office. First it was scheduled for Tuesday, then it was cancelled because of unspecified “security concerns,” but then it was back on and Julian Assange announced it anyway.
The announcement was that… they’re totally going to announce something soon. Maybe before Election Day, if they can get around to it. And why did you all assume it was about Hillary Clinton anyway?
It was pretty much a big pile of nothing. So much for that.
However – according to this, one of the theories going around for the delay and the non-announcement was a leaked email in which Hillary Clinton asked why they could just “drone” Julian Assange? –

So… they were possibly worried about Hillary Clinton calling in a hit against Assange? Well… it’s not the most bizarre theory I’ve heard about the Clintons. Still bizarre, don’t get me wrong.
Hillary was asked about this at a very short press conference today and was asked about her comment. Of course, she played it off like it was no big deal –

‘I don’t know anything about what he’s talking about,’ Clinton said, asked about Assange’s statements.
‘And I don’t recall any joke. It would have been a joke if it had been said, but I don’t recall that,’ Clinton said.
So, who knows? WikiLeaks does take the security of their information and their informants pretty seriously, so far as I can tell. But if they really do have what they’re implying they have, can’t they just fork it over and stop with their stupid hype machine?
