August 6, 2016On Friday, Hillary Clinton actually took questions from the press at a conference for black and Hispanic journalists.
Pandering. It’s what she does best.
During the press conference, Hillary tried to explain the stunning lack of consistency in her entire private email server/transmitting classified information story. If you recall, in her rare interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Hillary said she’s been completely truthful with the American people even though she lied about transmitting classified information and failed to hand over all her work-related emails and so on.
“Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails,” Hillary told Wallace.
Even the Washington Post gave her four Pinocchios.
There are inconsistencies, sure. Rest assured, Hillary didn’t lie. She just “short-circuited.” Silly her. It can happen to anyone, really.

She said that with a straight face. People actually bought it too. But Donald Trump? Not so much.

Imagine, if you will, Donald Trump using that excuse. “Yeah– my brain just, like, short-circuited!” No one would buy that. Everyone would be all, “OMG this man is nuts! He shouldn’t have access to ANYTHING security related! Imagine him having access to the nuclear codes! UNQUALIFIED!”
That’s exactly what would happen.
I hope Trump continues to hammer Hillary. He should continue to relentlessly mock every stupid excuse that falls out of her mouth.
