August 5, 2016An 18-year old girl was the victim of a violent crime yesterday in the Hamilton Creek Recreation Center area of Nashville, Tennessee. A horrible, senseless crime. A man approached her as she was babysitting twin boys. He appeared to speak no English. He beat and raped her in broad daylight.
The woman fought her attacker, losing a tooth in the process. She told the children to run. Police said the man raped her and then fled.
After the attack, she “caught up with the children and drove them home before calling police.”
People were nearby this park area. No one noticed anything “suspicious.” She provided a description of the man, and it looks like this:
She’s alive. The boys are alive. Thank God.
I know the victim of this crime, y’all. I’ve watched this beautiful, sweet, angelic, deliriously hilarious and brilliant young lady grow up since the day she took her first breath. I love this young lady beyond words.
She’s my family. This isn’t political. This is personal.
I need your help. I know this is something we’ve never done here, but I – we – want the piece of human excrement who did this to be apprehended. Apparently, another woman was raped on July 20th, and she gave a very similar description:

Police said the suspect matches the description of a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 29-year-old woman at the Hickory Trace Apartment complex on July 20.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall. He was wearing khaki pants, a black shirt with possible black stripes, and sunglasses. He fled in a black, four-door sedan, possibly an early 2000s model, with tinted windows, factory wheels and a spoiler on the back.
