Pro-Abortion Group Actually Thinks Pro-Lifers Are Anti-Science

I think today’s just the day for dark humor. First, it was terrorists telling their followers to kill white people so liberals would have to finally acknowledge that Islamic terrorism is what the terrorists actually say that it is. And now, we’ve got pro-abortion nutters thinking that pro-life people don’t actually believe in science.

No, seriously. They’re actually claiming that. And I would laugh in their faces if their claims weren’t so serious (I might just laugh anyway because – DUDE, how willfully ignorant can you get??)

According to this, a pro-abortion group in Philadelphia is mad that a local news website has refused to run an ad for them. The site didn’t run the ad because of any political views about abortion, but rather because of a policy they have about running advertising for advocacy groups (sounds like they don’t do it for anyone – they probably wouldn’t run one for a pro-life group either). But the group, National Partner for Women and Families (oh, the irony of that name) is pitching a fit about it –

The National Partner for Women and Families said it wanted to publish its pro-abortion campaign advertisement on the Philadelphia news website. The campaign, “Lies into Laws,” pushes back against pro-life laws by claiming that they are “anti-science.” […]

The pro-abortion group wanted to promote its campaign with a “home-page takeover” costing $17,600, according to the newspaper. The advertisement would fill the top of the Philly.com home page, as well as on both rails.

The pro-abortion group president Debra Ness spoke regarding the issue: “We need to be talking about these attacks on women’s health, not pushing the issue into the shadows and letting it go unchecked. That is why we are so disappointed by the Philadelphia Inquirer publisher’s decision not to run our spots.”

Pro-life laws are “anti-science,” huh? That’s rich, especially when you look at the actual scientific and medical discussion surrounding the actual procedure of abortion. Like the doctor in these video diagramming actual abortion procedures and what they do to the baby that’s being aborted –

Or consider this very graphic video of an abortionist doing what he’s paid to do – to the point that they’re actually poking through the baby’s remains in some medical dish.

Or the ghouls at Planned Parenthood and StemExpress who traffic human organs from aborted babies in order to use in scientific research (why call it a pancreas or a liver if it’s just a useless clump of cells?)

Or pro-life student groups who display actual remains of an aborted baby in order to help convince people what a barbaric practice abortion is.

Seems like there’s an abundance of scientific discussion going on here, as well as an emotional appeal. And when the two come together, people are less inclined to think of abortion as some nebulous “woman’s right” and more of “OMG – WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT??”

But yeah – go on. Keep trying to paint pro-lifers as anti-science. See how that works out for you.
