I knew Tumblr was a Cult of Social Justice cesspool (while occasionally showing off nice fan art) – but I didn’t know it was THIS bad!
If you don’t know, the background of Tumblr’s front login page changes every time you login. Even when you refresh the page, the background changes to something random. The background is always an image from a popular post – the idea is that someone’s artwork or graphic that is trending has a chance at being featured at any given time and it’s supposed to be an honor (well – Tumblr’s version of an honor, anyway).
But the other problem is that Tumblr has very little control over what their users post. Like any other social media site, it’s user-driven. And that’s why you can end up with crap like this –
What the actual fuck, @tumblr??? Why is this on your login page? pic.twitter.com/eiY7eQAOiK

Yeah… someone put up a post expressing sympathy for the death of the Orlando terrorist who pledged loyalty to ISIS. Even to the point that he promised to finish what the psycho started –
Investigate this guy please! #NBCNightlyNews #FBI #abcnews #LGBTQ #ORLANDO #POLICE #cbsnews #JARRETTWADE pic.twitter.com/hJh39B24em

Twitchy notes that the police are looking into the threat and that the Instagram account that the post originated from has been deleted (you can cross-post from Instagram to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr). But whoever this “Jarrett Wade” loser is, I hope they catch up with him.
