This is an Actual Headline.
Pretty sure I don’t want to live on this planet anymore, because on this planet, compression garments designed for gender non-conforming people are “game-changing.”
I don’t know about you all, but this “game” is getting majorly overplayed.
According to the sourcelink, there’s a new clothing line by an LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ-owned company called GC2b, which includes chest binders in five shades of skin toned colors. And also according to the sourcelink, the “offerings represent a massive expansion of accessibility for the company and the market” for the “many people who experience chest-related discomfort or dysphoria.”
And now that summer’s in full swing, GC2b wants to make sure that all of its gender-bending clients are supremely comfortable smooshing their boobs down in the least visible way possible.
The reason their new line is a “game-changer” is that prior to the release of this GROUND BREAKING LINE OF CHEST COMPRESSORS, most boob smashers were only available in white, black or gray. And this gave people of other color shades the major sadz. So now, GC2b has given these folks not only “access to skin tone inclusive clothing, but relative security in a society that is often unwelcoming to those who challenge gendered expectations.”
Here’s another nifty tidbit from the sourcelink:
Many people who bind regard the practice as a necessary evil. While essential for being comfortable in clothing, binding can have serious health impacts. Especially when done with ACE bandages or tape, it can put pressure on internal organs, cause fluid buildup in the lungs and even lead to broken ribs. Compression binders, like the ones in GC2b’s “All Nude” line, are often considered the safest method of binding to avoid most health concerns.
GC2b recommends customers listen to their body and comfort levels when wearing a binder and remove it if they notice any pain or discomfort when breathing. For those who experience problems breathing when not wearing a binder, consulting with an LGBTQ-friendly doctor before binding is a good idea. Many who bind also recommend going without a binder at night, and only binding for 10 hours per day.
Sounds awesome, doesn’t it?
We live in a world where articles talking about game-changing LGBT boob binders exist. This is real life now, y’all.
But hey – at least these folks have comfortable skin-tone matching boob binders now. And as we all know, everything is all about these folks’ comfort now. The rest of us just need to share the locker rooms with anyone, regardless of what danglies they may or may not possess, and stay quiet about our own levels of discomfort. We don’t matter. After all, who cares what 99.7% of us think? It’s not like we’re a majority or anything.
