Maybe there’s hope for Florida after all.
March 15 is the big day. Super Tuesday part two. 367 delegates are up for grabs in a majority of winner-take-all states. Perhaps the biggest state of the day is Florida. A whopping 99 delegates are at stake. That alone could push Cruz ahead of Trump in the race to 1,237.
Trump has been leading in Florida by just short of 20 points, but as recent polls indicate, that could all be changing. According to a new Monmouth University survey, Rubio is catching up.
The results are as follows:
Trump: 38 percent
Rubio: 30 percent
Cruz: 17 percent
Kasich: 10 percent
And here’s the most recent RCP average:
Can Rubio– or ANYONE– keep Trump from taking Florida’s 99 delegates? I sure as heck hope so.
