In other news, the sky is blue.
Did you know there was a Democrat Debate last night? If not, don’t worry – nobody else did either. Debbie McFrizz is all about squirreling away any televised event where Queen Hillary might be required to speak so nobody sees what a fraud the left is trying to sneak into the White House.
Good thing we have YouTube so we can hit the highlights (such as they are).
Last night, Grandma McCackles went on and on in that insufferable shrill voice that she has (I think she has someone running their nails on a chalkboard instead of vocal cords), about how the Republican-controlled Senate NEEDS to let President Obama bring forth his nominee for the Supreme Court because it’s in the Constitution.
Now – here’s a shock – I happen to agree with her on that. Obama can put forward as many SCOTUS nominees as he likes. Doesn’t mean the Senate is obligated to confirm them if they find something genuinely lacking in those nominees (and seeing how Obama’s done a bang-up job of nominated activist judges, I’m certain there will be plenty wrong with whoever he nominates).
However, that’s not the tune then-Senator Clinton was singing in 2005. This video illustrates –

So, it’s okay to go against the Constitution and prevent a sitting president from bringing forth a nomination for the Supreme Court when it’s that EEEEEEEEEVIL George W. Bush. But when it’s your bestest buddy Barack Obama doing it – ALL HAIL THE CONSTITUTION!!
Hillary Rodham Clinton, everybody.
