March 7, 2016Saturday was a busy election day. Cruz won Kansas and Maine, and Trump won Louisiana and Kentucky (by less than 5 points, mind you).
It was a good day for Cruz, delegate wise.
Saturday was a crummy day for Rubio, but he kind of redeemed himself in Puerto Rico. Because he got over 50 percent of the vote, he took all 23 delegates. Sure, it gave him a little boost, but Puerto Rico’s residents can’t even vote in the general election, so it’s basically pointless. Unfortunately, I think the Puerto Rico win gave Rubio a confidence boost, so he’ll probably shut down any second thoughts about dropping out of the race before Florida.
Anyway, with 150 delegates up for grabs tomorrow, I thought it’d be a good idea to look at the current delegate count. The estimates vary, but you’ll get the gist.

No March 8 states are winner-take-all, so everyone has a chance to grab some delegates. Tuesday, March 15 will be the real game changer.
