It sucks to lose the biggest game of the year. When the Patriots ruined their PERFECT SEASON back in Super Bowl XLII, I cried for days. (Not really. But I was crushed. And I’m just a dopey fangirl. I can’t imagine how the players felt.) But you can handle a loss with integrity and class, or you can handle it like Cam Newton. He totally came off as a bratty punk, and that’s NOT how a leader acts. Sure, I wouldn’t exactly want to explain my feelings of failure either, but that comes with the territory. You live, learn and move on.
Cam Newton was not having it in the postgame presser.

I’m happy Peyton Manning and the Broncos won. And you know what? Even if Manning did lose, he’d take the loss like a man.
Cam Newton was ungracious in loss. He’s young. But had Manning lost, he’d have handled the post game presser with class and dignity.#SB50 — Larry Elder (@larryelder) February 8, 2016
Compare and contrast Peyton Manning and Cam Newton. One of them is a total class act and perfect gentleman. The other is Cam Newton.
