No, Josh Earnest. We Are NOT Safer With A Barack Obama Presidency

Being Barack Obama’s press secretary must be a tough job. You have to go out in front of the media and claim that the stupid crap your boss is doing is actually helping the American people. And you have to do it all with a straight face. You inevitably end up looking like an idiot.

Unless you’re Josh Earnest. Then you just embrace your role as the village idiot.

According to this, Josh is actually claiming that America as a whole is safer under Barack Obama –

I’d be REALLY interested to know what Josh’s definition of “safer” is. I mean, we’ve got ISIS sympathizers taking upon themselves to murder innocent people. There are more race riots and protests on college campuses than I’ve ever known in my life. The economy still sucks (can’t forget about that one). Obama is all for letting people into the country that we have no idea what their intentions are or what they’re ultimately going to do when they get here. And it’s OUR FAULT for being so paranoid about terrorism – but that’s really just our innate racism talking. Or something.

No wonder gun sales are up and Americans are opposed to banning “assault weapons”. Our president has no concern over protecting the country, so people feel like they have to do it themselves.

It’s just sad.
