November 28, 2015We still don’t know too much about the shooter who killed, wounded and terrorized people at the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic Friday.
He’s been identified as 57-year-old Robert Lewis Dear, and no. He’s not a registered Republican (sorry libs), but he is registered to vote as a woman, so there’s that. (Time will tell if it’s a clerical error.)
We still don’t know about the motivation behind his attack, but progressives are really super duper hoping that he’s some kind of “right-wing Christian terrorist.”
But since we don’t have all of the details yet, Obama’s working the angles he can and using this tragedy to push for gun control.
Of course that’s what he’s doing. Never let a good crisis go to waste, am I right?
“This is not normal. We can’t let it become normal. If we truly care about this — if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them,” Obama said in a statement Saturday. “Period. Enough is enough.”
Hear that, minions? If you REALLY cared about this, you’d be alllllll about gun control. You’d jump up and down and emphatically demand more gun laws. Otherwise, you’re part of the problem. You’re the reason criminals are getting their hands on weapons and killing innocent people. You and your stupid devotion to the Second Amendment.
“The last thing Americans should have to do, over the holidays or any day, is comfort the families of people killed by gun violence — people who woke up in the morning and bid their loved ones goodbye with no idea it would be for the last time,” Obama added.
He never gets sick of politicizing tragedies, does he?
