This CNN Anchor Was NOT Pleased With How ‘The View’ Hosts Treated Carly Fiorina

We conservative women get called all kinds of names and get plenty of threatening crap sent our way. It just comes with the territory of refusing to fall in line with the “received wisdom” that liberal feminism speaks for all women (and we Chicks have talked at length about why we don’t agree with modern liberal feminism and we certainly will have the chance to do so again). So when I heard that the harpies over at The View were going after Carly Fiorina because of the way she looked in the last GOP debate – I wasn’t surprised. Angry? Upset? Insulted? Of course. But not surprised.

What DID surprise me was this moment from CNN’s Brooke Baldwin who excoriated the middle-aged Mean Girls for their remarks about Carly’s physical appearance. And, boy, it is a thing of beauty. Watch –

Brooke’s politics probably fall a bit left-of-center (it’s just a guess, but she says she likes watching The View) – but it’s nice to see someone in the media actually defend a conservative woman from an unfair attack like this. Kudos and mad props to Brooke for her defense of Carly!
