Yeast infections, you guys. That makes you brave. You’ll get oodles of affirmation from the baby killing harpies of the world for shouting about that.
Don’t believe me? Get a load of this.
On Sunday, Portland woman Mary Numair was working her shift at Purringtons Cat Lounge (yes, that’s an actual thing) when she noticed protestors outside the nearby Planned Parenthood. She saw one sign which read, “Abortion Kills Children.” The woman holding that particular sign wasn’t near the rest of the group. Out of the goodness of her black heart, Numair told the woman the protest was down the road.
“She said ‘No, I need to stand here,'” Numair said. “I said, ‘F*** this shit,’ went back inside, and started making my sign.”
Numair apparently feels indebted to Planned Parenthood for treating her “chronic yeast infections” in the past. So she made this sign and started chanting “Yeast infections,” and thus, the next “brave” feminist was born.

Onlookers gave Numair the thumbs-up, and some passing cars honked in support, but she was the only counter-protester on the scene. Still, with a spontaneous chant, she managed to break up the protest in under a half-hour. “I don’t know why I started chanting ‘Yeast infections!’ but it just came out. I have this cold, so it was just this obnoxious squeak, cheerleader-like. And I started doing high kicks, which I don’t normally do, in my skinny jeans.” A religious leader was guiding a circle of protestors in prayers for Numair—but as her chants got louder and more grating, they stopped.
All of that, my friends, makes her brave. (Also, why didn’t she just go to a CVS or Walgreens and buy some OTC product to take care of that? Just wondering.)
You guys have an insultingly low threshold for bravery. Also, she might have such frequent yeast infections BECAUSE of PP… @Slate

@botticellicream @Slate Funny, when I yell random idiocy at public gatherings people call me nuts, not brave.

@Slate Doesn't require much to be a "Hero" in your world does it?

@Slate It's not about yeast infections. Grow the hell up and take responsibility. pic.twitter.com/BjgkIvMsTo
