The liberal women of “The View” are known for mocking things that just aren’t funny, whether it be traditional marriage or a nurse who wears a “doctor’s stethoscope.”
This week, they talked a little bit about the bride who gave her father a “certificate of purity” signed by her gynecologist to prove that she was still a virgin. I don’t think the virgin part is weird, but the certificate? Yeah. That’s bizarre. But it was ultimately her choice, and it was obviously intended to honor her parents.
The ladies of the “The View” didn’t really get it. Not so much the certificate, but being a virgin in general. That’s right up there with being an alien. (Not an illegal one though. They love those.)
Bure set them straight.
Is Saving Yourself for Marriage More Common Than You Think?“This is really about a relationship between them and wanting to honor God,” says Candace Cameron Bure on a couple who went viral for posting their certificate of virginity online.

“This is really about a relationship between them and wanting to honor God,” Bure said.
Bure pointed out that saving yourself for marriage– especially within the church community– isn’t weird. She told her cohosts that she even has friends in their thirties who still have their virginity, but Joy Behar thinks that’s “a little bit much.” Then again, that’s coming from the same woman who has the hots for Bernie Sanders.
I just can’t believe I live in a world where promiscuity is glorified, and virginity is mocked. Opposite world. We live in opposite world.
