You know, if I were a Democrat running for president, I’d want to distance myself far away from Barack Obama and his policies.
He’s spent more money than every other U.S. president– from George Washington to Bill Clinton– combined. He spent billions on a stimulus bill that didn’t work. The number of Americans on welfare has gone up. He assured us there wasn’t a “smidgen of corruption” when the IRS CLEARLY targeted conservative groups. He shoved Obamacare down our throats and now we’re all paying the consequences. He fueled racial animosity. He traded five terrorists for a freaking deserter. He doesn’t give a crap about securing our southern border, and our enemies abroad don’t fear or respect us.
I’m just scratching the surface here.
Needless to say, Hillary should take a few tips and lie about how she’s super different than Obama. The problem is, she can’t even get herself to believe that lie.
Chuck Todd asked Hillary how she’d be any different than Barack Obama, and she couldn’t provide an answer.
“You have said you are not running for Barack Obama’s third term,” Todd said. “Where do you differ? What is a couple places you differ … where do you differ from him on domestic issues?”
“Look, I think I would have a different job,” Clinton said.
Yo Hillz. You’re running for the presidency. You’d have the same exact job. But nice try.
“I have said I am not my husband’s third term either,” she continued. “Both of them faced economic challenges inherited from their Republican predecessors.”
Don’t you just love how Democrats STILL blame Obama’s problems on Republicans? It’s so cute.
“President Obama inherited the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression,” she said. “It was his job to stop the bleeding. Begin to repair the economy. Dig us out of the ditch we were in. Begin to see the recovery of jobs. But what we haven’t seen is the recovery of incomes. We just haven’t seen paychecks rising yet. People have not recovered their paycheck or their wealth that was so devastated by the crisis of ’07, ’08, ’09.”
So Hillz. You’re saying we didn’t fully recover? But it totally has nothing to do with Obama being a craptastic president who continues to ignore basic economic principles? Got it.
“But where do you differ with the president?” Todd responded.
“Well, I have a different set of priorities because I will face a different set of issues,” Clinton said.
“I want to build on what works from both my husband’s term and President Obama’s, but I want to go further,” she added.
So there you have it. She’s actually not any different. She’s more extreme. She doesn’t believe Obama took his policies far enough.
As the saying goes, Obama put America in the toilet, and if Hillary Clinton makes it to the Oval Office, she’ll flush.
