Rubio Responds To The Cuban Gov’t Hating Him, And It’s AWESOMESAUCE

In case you missed it, the New York Times published yet another bombshell hit piece on presidential candidate Marco Rubio. As it turns out, he’s not very popular in Cuba.

Rubio responded to their ridiculous piece on Fox Business Tuesday, and it’s pretty much the most perfect response in the history of ever.

"Number one, in Cuba if they would have said something positive about me, they would have been punished for it by the government," Rubio said. "Number two, in Cuba there’s an information blockade. … Any news they get about me comes from the government TV stations and the government-run newspapers, and they’re not big fans of mine."

Pretty sure the “reporters” over at the New York Times are sitting around dreaming about government-controlled media. If only ALL news came through them! America would be so much cooler!

And Rubio took it a step further and actually said he’s happy the Cuban government hates his guts.

"I’m glad that the Cuban government seems to be obsessed with me, because what it shows is that we’ve struck a vein, we have called them out who they are. They are a tyrannical regime that controls the entire economy, and they’re looking to more trade and engagement with the US for one simple purpose: it is not to improve the lives of the Cuban people, it is to perpetuate themselves in power," Rubio said.

Even if you’re not a Rubio fan, you have to agree with him here. I love hearing leaders call out nasty, corrupt regimes. Because if you haven't noticed, the current POTUS doesn't do that much.
