According to that sourcelink, a website owned by NASCAR driver Tony Stewart was allegedly hacked this weekend by the Islamic State.
The message showed up on Eldora Speedway’s webpage, and it said, “Hacked by Islamic State. We Are Everywhere :).”
The message was up for almost a half hour before administrators were able to take it down. The track’s general manager, Roger Slack, said they aren’t sure if the message was directly from the Islamic State. According to reports, other websites were affected as well.
"Seriously?" said Stewart when told about the webpage while preparing for Sunday's Kobalt 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. "I guess we're a big enough blip on the radar now if we've gotten their attention. Maybe we can get them season passes.
"If there's anybody I'd want mad at me, I guess it would be them."
