Florida Officials Barred From Using The Words ‘Global Warming’ For The Best Reason EVER

I’m dying from the hilarity.

Liberals are getting their panties in a wad again over “global warming,” except this time, the reason is hilarious.

According to the sourcelink, Florida Department of Environmental Protection officials have been ordered to stop using the terms “global warming” and “climate change” in regards to official work.

DEP officials have been ordered not to use the term “climate change” or “global warming” in any official communications, emails, or reports, according to former DEP employees, consultants, volunteers and records obtained by the Florida Center for Investigative Reporting.

The policy goes beyond semantics and has affected reports, educational efforts and public policy in a department that has about 3,200 employees and $1.4 billion budget.

OMG REPUBLICANS ARE SO ANTI-SCIENCE! But not really. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Liberals only consider science indisputable when it fits their agenda. Global warming has been debunked.  There’s no consensus. And if you mentioned it 40 years ago, they’d yell at you for being an idiot and not preparing for the coming ice age.

The reason the terms were “banned” is the greatest.

“We were told that we were not allowed to discuss anything that was not a true fact,” former DEP employee Kristina Trotta said.

The report then goes on to say that this “ban” is actually an “unwritten” policy. Liberals were still freaking out. Then in an email, the governor’s spokesperson wrote, “There’s no policy on this.”

Either way, it proves a point. Liberals are champs at expressing outrage over absolutely nothing. In this case, it might not even be true.  

If only. It’d be nice to get some common sense around here. I was a little (and by a little I meant MAJORLY) embarrassed after my home state voted for Barack Obama. Twice.

Maybe they’re trying to make up for it.
