According to this, a "professor at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (UWW) sent a memo to her freshman English class offering students extra credit for attending an organized rally to protest Gov. Scott Walker's proposed budget cuts to the University of Wisconsin System."
The professor – Beth Lueck – is a democrat who ran against state Representative Jim Ott (a Republican). Apparently, she's pissed off now, and she's taking out her aggressions in her classroom. Because liberals. You know. And last Wednesday, she sent this memo to her freaking ENGLISH CLASS, because this has a lot to do with English, dontcha think?

Of course, the commie she backtracked by saying that no one was required to attend the rally. She said that "the extra credit opportunity – not an assignment – requires students to write a response to the event or lecture that they attend. The amount of credit given has nothing to do with the views they express."
SERIOUSLY? You think people are actually buying that load of horse crap, lady?
She also claims that this has something to do with a freaking English course. AS IF. She said that out loud, y'all. She said that "reading or observing or discussing, analyzing, and writing is very much a part of the curriculum in an English course." That's how she rationalizes being a liberal hosebeast who is trying to indoctrinate and POLITICALLY STRONG-ARM students in her English class.
When they should be learning ENGLISH from someone who is being paid to do a job.
As someone who used to teach at the college level, this chick is a DISGRACE to teaching. And she's one of the handful of reasons that I don't teach anymore.
