I barely have time to pee most days, let alone watch TV. No, really. So, I don't watch TV, except for the occasional 15 minutes or so of Nick Jr. with my young'un at around 8:30 pm. (Team Umizoomi ready for action!)
But I have heard about this whole "House of Cards" thing, in passing, on the interwebs and in conversations around the office.
And now members of Congress are taking time out of their (very busy, obviously) schedules to imitate Kevin Spacey's character, Frank Underwood.
And like the source says…"participants include Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), Donna Edwards (D-Md.), and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). It turns out that icy lines like "That's how you devour a whale" or "Power is a lot like real estate. Location, location, location" are a lot more unsettling when they come from somebody who actually has political power."
