Yesterday marked the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and Obama praised it.
Because of course.
Instead of pushing the notion that abortions should be as RARE as possible, Obama "reaffirmed our steadfast commitment" to Roe v. Wade and told all of us empowered women that abortions are a stepping stone to "fulfilling our dreams."
It's weird how he left out the part about how abortion is basically killing a person. And it's also weird how he left out the part about how he's pro-partial-birth abortion, which is when an "abortionist reaches into the uterus, grabs the unborn baby's leg with forceps…pulls the still-living baby into the birth canal, except for the head, which is deliberately kept just inside the womb…sticks scissors into the back of the baby's skull and spreads the tips of the scissors apart to enlarge the wound… removes the scissors, inserts a suction catheter, and sucks the baby's brains out. The collapsed head is then removed from the uterus."
I guess the words "choice" and "dreams" and "opportunities" sound so much better than that reality thing – especially when Obama's all for it. Obama's teleprompter has always been really good at crafting semantics, after all.
Anywho.
Here is some more reality for you, since Obama and his buddies won't include this in his hippie-happy speech, either:
It is estimated that over 55 million abortions have been performed since 1973, the year it was legalized. If you do the math on those appalling figures, the numbers are deeply disturbing:
1.382 million abortions every year
115,167 abortions every month
26,577 abortions every week
3,786 abortions every day
157 abortions every hour
2.6 abortions every minute
Never mind all that, though. Democrats are too busy laughing their butts off at their go-to-VagNapkin girl, Sarah Silverman, deliver one of THE most heinous tirades about "ladyparts" ever. In the history of ever.
With a bonus Jesus, no less. And Jesus saying the F-word, so if you're at work, you've been warned.
