According to this, Senate Democrats are collecting signatures on a letter to TV networks to tell them that they're not covering global warming enough on their shows.
I'm not even making that up.
Leading the charge are Sens. Bernie Sanders and Brian Schatz. Sanders used "analysis" from Media Matters to contend that between ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox – climate change was discussed collectively for only EIGHT MINUTES in 2012 on the Sunday talk shows.
And we all know how reliable Media Matters is.
There now exists a 19 member Climate Action Task Force, according to the sourcelink, which is made up of Senate Democrats, who clearly have nothing better to do. They're raring to go on several iniatives to help combat climate change, including making sure that stringent emissions standards are set for power plants (which will ultimately put many of them out of business) and writing up a whole bunch of new legislation on climate change, presumably to somehow make money off of it. Because that's what they do.
