…but Ashley Judd has endorsed the latest Obama/Lena Dunham/virginity/sexual innuendo ad that I told you about right here.

BEHOLD:

Hear that, “girls?”

Ashley got tons of backlash for that, and some of it was positively hilarious.  I loved Sister Toldjah’s response, which said, “Let’s say I want my first time to be with BO.  What type of protection should I use to avoid catching dependency?”

I laughed SO HARD at that.

Ben Shapiro went straight for the innuendo jugular and tweeted, “Ashley Judd joins Lena Dunham in endorsing sex with Barack Obama.”

GLEES.

And then there was Rob Huddleston, who went straight for the slut angle, with a dig at Kentucky as well, just for added salt to the wound.  Was it a little over the top?  Perhaps.  But as is typical, Ashley Judd COMPLETELY OVERREACTED, and claimed that his statement was “gender violence.”  OMG.

BEHOLD:

Seriously?  Making a tasteless joke in response to a completely tasteless ad is now considered “gender violence?”  THIS is precisely what’s wrong with liberal feminism, you guys.  This absurd, hyper-sensitive, overblown, misplaced, manufactured outrage over totally nonsensical things.  It’s completely fine for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES to have a personal stamp of approval on an advertisement full of sexual innuendo directed RIGHT at young women (or “girls” even!), but a guy making a crude joke in response?  OMG TOTAL GENDER VIOLENCE.

You can imagine the responses she got to that.  Here are a couple of my faves:

And now?  Ashley is set to publish another diatribe, likely for HuffPo or the Daily Beast, or perhaps Jezebel.    BEHOLD:

Image 126_1.png

The “Muse” she refers to is the god of her understanding, as I recall from when she wrote her last self-indulgent, self-centered, self-serving essay.  Ashley asking whether she’ll have the courage to publish her own essay is like asking if it ever rains in Seattle. The answer is a resounding YES, and the reason for her rhetorical question was to fish for validation from her followers. Of COURSE she will publish it.  And I’ll be ready, you guys.  Because even though there is absolutely NO WAY her next essay will be anything less than utter bullsh*t, just as her first one was,  her minions will lap it up with a spoon, and SOMEONE needs to counter the crazy.

Maybe I should make it a personal goal to be accused of gender violence by Ashley Judd. Obviously, it doesn’t take much.
